Volunteer Day with Homes4Families

On a warm (ok pretty hot) day last week, the Zoom Casa team spent a day volunteering with Homes4Families in Palmdale. Homes4Families has been building affordable homes for veteran families since 2008, providing not only a place to live but economic mobility for low-income households who have served in the military.

While Zoom Casa’s mission has been to provide better solutions for homeowners looking to sell their homes, we know that today owning a home at all can be a difficult endeavor. That’s why we’re so thrilled to be able to contribute sweat equity to an organization like Homes4Families. The American dream of homeownership should never be out of reach for those who defend our right to dream at all.

And not only did we get a chance to volunteer in a great cause, it gave us a wonderful excuse to use jackhammers, augers, pour cement, and a host of other equipment that were equal parts exciting and backbreaking. We all came away with a new appreciation for the amazing contractors we work with on all of our renovation projects, as well as the incredible people who work at Homes4Families day in and day out.

We’re already planning our next volunteer day with Homes4Families. Thank you so much for having us! Zoom Casa with Homes4Families Zoom Casa with Homes4FamiliesZoom Casa with Homes4Families
