Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, who sees it, and what your rights are. Plain language — because if we can't explain it plainly, you shouldn't have to read it.

Applies tozoomcasa.com and all Zoom Casa services

This policy explains how Zoom Casa collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us. It covers the website, the net-sheet tool, the consultant intake, and the email and CRM systems we use to run the programs.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to underwrite your offer and run the program you came to us for.

From the net-sheet entry, we collect the property address you submit. No name, no email, no phone — you see a real offer first.

From the consultant intake, we collect the contact information you choose to share: typically name, email, and phone number. You may also choose to share your timeline, your equity position, and the situation that brought you to us — these help the consultant prepare for the call.

Derived from public records, we collect property characteristics (square footage, year built, recent sale history, tax assessment) to run the Automated Valuation Model that produces your offer. This is the same kind of data Zillow, Redfin, and any licensed real estate professional uses.

Automatically, we collect standard web analytics: pages visited, time on site, referring source, device type, and general location at the city level. We do not collect precise geolocation, and we do not run a hard credit pull at any point in the net-sheet or intake flow.

2. How we use it

We use what we collect to underwrite your offer, to staff the consultant call, and to coordinate the program if you accept. We use analytics to understand which parts of the site help homeowners most so we can keep improving them.

We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the program you contacted us about. We do not run consumer-acquisition marketing that displaces the partner agents who bring most of our deal flow.

3. Who we share it with

Your Zoom Casa solution consultant — the named human who underwrites your offer and runs the call. The consultant who runs your offer is the consultant who closes your deal; we do not pass your call to a different person every time.

Partner agents and lenders — only with your explicit consent, and only when a partner brought you to us in the first place. If you came to us directly, your information is not shared with any partner without you affirmatively choosing to share it.

Service providers who help us run the business — our CRM, email service, hosting platform, analytics provider, and similar operational vendors. These providers are contractually limited to using the information solely to provide the service to Zoom Casa and may not use it for their own purposes.

Legal obligation — if compelled by valid legal process (subpoena, court order, regulatory inquiry), we will disclose information to the extent required. We do not voluntarily share with law enforcement absent valid legal process.

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not rent, trade, or share your contact information with data brokers. Nothing about how Zoom Casa makes money depends on monetizing your data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep information as long as we need it to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Operationally:

If you submit a net-sheet entry and do not move forward, we retain the address-only submission for up to 24 months so we can recognize you if you return and so we can improve the model. We do not contact you about an abandoned net-sheet submission.

If you complete the consultant intake, we retain your contact and program records for the duration of any open relationship plus the period our accounting and tax obligations require (typically seven years).

If you ask us to delete your information, we do so within 30 days of the request, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.

5. Your rights

You have the right to know what we have, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of any non-essential use of it. These rights apply regardless of where you live — we extend them to all U.S. residents.

To exercise any of these rights, reach out via the consultants page or email privacy@zoomcasa.com. We will respond within 30 days, and we will not charge you for exercising any right under this policy.

6. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act give you specific additional rights. We honor all of them.

  • Right to know what categories of personal information we have collected about you in the prior 12 months, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we have shared it with.
  • Right to delete the personal information we have about you, subject to limited exceptions (mostly around active transactions and legal records).
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt outof any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising; this right is preserved nonetheless.
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect categories California treats as sensitive (genetic data, precise geolocation, biometric data) in the regular course of business.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

To exercise your California rights, email privacy@zoomcasa.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to run the site. The essential ones make the net-sheet form remember your entries across the steps. The analytics cookies tell us in aggregate which pages help homeowners and which do not.

We use Google Analytics for site analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google opt-out browser add-on. Your browser's privacy settings can also disable cookies broadly; doing so may break parts of the net-sheet flow.

8. How we protect what we collect

Information is transmitted over HTTPS, stored on infrastructure provided by SOC 2-compliant service providers, and accessed by Zoom Casa staff and contracted consultants only as needed to do their jobs. We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a breach that affects your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law — and we will tell you what happened, what information was involved, and what we are doing about it.

9. Children's privacy

Zoom Casa's services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact privacy@zoomcasa.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the business changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes — changes that expand the categories of information we collect or share — we will notify you directly via the email address you provided, if any.
